Diana Borgmeyer, Ansvar Risk CEO

Diana is responsible for developing and delivering innovative and market leading risk solutions for Ansvar customers. Prior to joining Ansvar, Diana was the senior risk management consultant with the Victorian Managed Insurance Agency (VMIA). Diana’s portfolio of clients whilst at the VMIA included the Community Services Sector, Emergency Services, Victoria Police, the Department of Human Services and Department of Justice.

Diana has over 20 years’ experience leading enterprise risk and governance functions in both public and private sector organisations with particular expertise in strategic risk management and the management of risk in health and human services organisations. Diana also holds a Board position with a community health organisation and is Chair of their Quality and Risk Committee.

Anthony Black, Senior Risk Consultant – ERM & National Care Practice Leader

Anthony is a passionate advocate of the value of risk management in good governance and achieving objectives. He brings a wide variety of sector experience and expertise to his role. As a former nurse and health service executive, he understands the challenges and uncertainties of managing complex services, particularly in the disability & aged care sector where he has held clinical, senior management and executive roles.

Prior to joining Ansvar, Anthony was responsible for the delivery of risk management advice and solutions to the Victorian Public Sector, specialising in Health, Human Services, Community Care and Education. Anthony takes a practical and tailored approach to risk management; designed to shift focus from traditional methods to more strategic thinking and approaches.

Rosemary Borgia - Risk Solutions Resource Administrator

Rosemary Borgia, Resource Administrator

Rosemary has a wealth of risk and insurance experience from working within the insurance industry for a number of years. Rosemary has also gained knowledge at ANZSOG (School of Government) and Master Builders Assoc. of Vic.

As Resource Administrator, Rosemary overseas multiple projects within the Risk team such as survey scheduling, risk partnerships liaison, contributing to marketing campaigns and survey reporting. Based in Melbourne, Rosemary works between our Risk team, Client Solutions and Technical Solutions teams to ensure projects are carried out effectively for the benefit of our customers.

Fergal O'Connell Risk Engineering Services Manager

Fergal O’Connell, Risk Engineering Services Manager

Fergal has over eleven years of experience in the insurance industry in claims, underwriting, surveying and risk management. Ranging from domestic to large commercial. With a degree in Civil Engineering, CASA qualified Remote Pilot and a Certified Level 1 Thermographer, Fergal has the ability to draw on a wide range of experiences from his previous roles, providing Ansvar’s customers with the best possible advice.

As Risk Engineering Services Manager, Fergal is tasked with providing tailored risk engineering solutions across Ansvar’s specialised sectors. Fergal is also the risk engineer for Victoria and Tasmania providing quality assessments and insightful reporting which enables customers to make informed decisions more quickly.

Mathew Holland Chief Drone Operator and Chief Pilot

Matt Holland, Chief Drone Operator and Chief Pilot

Matt has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry across all major client facing areas, with degrees in Financial Services (General Insurance), Risk Management (from ANZIIF) and Certified Level 1 Thermography. Matt has previously held roles at State Insurance in Business Development, Account Management and Claims, but it was at State Insurance that he realised his passion for loss prevention, risk management and innovation when he became a Risk Surveyor in 2001. During Matt’s career he has been instrumental in the development, leadership and training for initiatives that drive the use of technology in the risk management sector.

Based in NSW, Matt’s role includes risk engineering for the state and sometimes requires a combination of drones and laser technology to conduct a risk quality survey.
